ZOMBIES!!!: Let the Lead Fly

Rules Supplement by Bryce Evans

Sid checked her magazine. Great 7 bullets left and 3 Zombies outside the door. A little bruised, but as of yet uninfected. The Zombies began to move. A forth Zombie appeared at the door and they burst into the room. Quickly, they fell on Sid. Blam Blam Blam One Zombie is dead ‘again’. Blam Blam Missed but the Zombie is out of gas, temporarily. Blam Blam Click Knocked it down, but missed its brain. Hand to Hand for this last one. Ouch, It bit me! Here it comes again. Whack Snap That’s one dead Zombie. That’s it, they’re all gone. Wait, it’s getting back up. I’ve got to get to that helicopter. Swing and a miss. Ouch, I got bit again. I don’t feel well. Grab and Snap Got you, one left. So tired, can barely move. One last punch, missed it has me. It’s so dark. I’m awake. I’m so hungry. I smell fresh flesh...

Most rules are the same except:

And a new hit table to kill zombies:

RollResult
1-2 Red Hearts & +1 Black Heart/you got bit bad
2-1 Red Heart/oh no, I hope that’s not infected
3-1 Red Heart/a little bruised but okay
4Zombie is stunned/you knocked him down
5Zombie is stunned/almost broke his neck, almost
6Zombie killed/you got him good

If you are infected when you die, then you become a zombie looking for fresh brains. There is a 6 black heart limit.

The black hearts are your new ‘health points’.

The Zombies move only during their turn.

1. Roll D6 and move all zombies that amount toward nearest ‘live’ player. It takes 4 Zombies can move through doors and windows. Zombies use left over movement to battle when present with a ‘live’ player. Battling occurs as normal.

2. After all have moved and battled, wake stunned Zombies.

For shorter games, use fewer tiles.

For longer games, play till all 206 Zombies are dead.

For a twist, set a common goal before starting. Like find the Secret Military Lab, or something like that.
