A Scenario by Magnus Bergqvist
THE STORY
"Aaaarrgh! Get this thing off me!" Mya, screamed as she tried to break free from the zombie that had grabbed her. Jack bashed the zombie in the head with his baseball-bat, forcing the zombie to collapse.
"Come on, they're coming through, we can't hold them off for long." Tyler yelled as he and Mike tried to clear a path through the horde of zombies.
"Hurry, there's more of them behind you." Annie shouted as Jack and Mya started running towards the others.
"Cut! Come on, you can do it better than that. Give me more feeling... The zombies are better actors than you guys." The director shouted. He was not pleased.
Jack turned to the stuntman playing the zombie, which he had just bashed in the head. "You ok?"
"Yeah... I'm fine."
The Scenario
In "Lights, Camera, Action!" the players play the roles of actors participating in a zombie-movie. As such they do need to make it interesting. Lots and lots of zombies...But maybe all zombies aren't actors...
The Setup
Start by actually building the city and place all the zombies. The player characters start at the town square. Let the helicopter pad be placed as far away from the town center as possible. (You will need a bag of extra zombies for this scenario).
Each player start with 10 bullets, and 5 life
Game Play
The games continues almost a normal game of Zombies, but with the following twists:
When it is time for the zombies to move: First move ALL zombies in a direct line of sight to any player character (that means out on the streets), towards that character (or the closest in case the zombies can see more than one.).
Then roll 1D6 for the number of additional zombie that will move.
Each time a character dies, add 2D6 zombies on the streets. They are coming out from the buildings you know. Time to hire more extras. The dead character will only start with 3 life-tokens and 3 bullets per normal play though. Optional rule: If he dies again, then he is now one of the zombies (the player will then control the zombies)
If a character enters a building that has been previously searched for goodies, roll 1D6, on a roll of 6, then there is a new set of goodies in it. (It is after all movies...)
To win, all players need to get to the helicopter pad, no winning through number of zombies.
Scoring
When finishing play:
Each surviving player gets 10 points. (Only 5 if they have died once)
5 Bonus points for getting to the helicopter first.
1 point for each zombie killed.
The zombies get 5 points per player character that they kill... =^_^=
After all, they need their 15 minutes of fame as well.
The one with the highest score will win.
