Alternate rules for a monstrous variant of Zombies!!!

Rules and Rule Changes
Below are rules for adding a greater variety of horror movie monsters than just Zombies to your Zombies!!! game. All normal rules to the game are unchanged except for the ones outlined below
- All non zombie monsters move 2
- There is no limit to how many bullet a character can carry
- All monsters move at their speed towards the nearest Player figure (except the Mummy who can be sent elsewhere; See below).
- When placing Zombies in a building roll a d6 per zombie. If it comes up a "1" place a Special Monster figure instead after randomly determining which monster it is.
- When placing bullet counters in a building roll a d6 per bullet; on a "1", put a Special Object Counter instead.
An optional rule is to have Special Monster count as twice the number of kills, which gives players incentive to kill them rather than just run away.
Special Monster Counter
These are used to represent any of the monsters outlined below. Like zombies there can be any number of these in the course of a game. Unlike zombies they always move there full move (2) towards the nearest Player, unless noted below. The special rules for each are covered in their entries below. Under the "Killed by:" is the number on the attack roll (which can be modified my spending bullets as normal in the game) that defeats that specific monster. It may also be followed by a + "X". "X" being the conditional Special Object Counter that the attacking player needs to have in his possession at the time of that attack roll for it to have any effect (i.e.; to kill the Vampire will require a roll of 6 AND having a cross, holy water or wooden stake in your possession). Special Object Counters stay in the game in the possession of their player unless something causes him to forfeit all the cards in his hand then he loses them.
It should be easy to find minis or plastic toys to represent the monster on the board. Feel free to use whatever you like, such as pieces of paper or Steve Jackson Games Cardboard Heroes range for inspiration. I would recomend no more than one or possibly two types of special monsters Special Monsters as tha main adversary or possibly the only opponent ( ie, a scenario in which the town is simultaneousely run over by vampires and werewolves fighting a 'turff war for the night', with humans caught trying to escape in the middle)
Giant Bugs/Ants/Spiders- Description: Giant mutated HUNGRY insects who prefer their prey live.
- Killed by: 6 or higher +2 bullets
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1-3 Life counters
- Special: None
Cultists- Description: "Rave and slay! The dead walk! The masters time is at hand!"
- Killed by: 3 or higher
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1-2 Life counters (sharp/blunt objects)
- Special: When killed has a 1 in 6 chance of having a random Special Object Counter on them that the player can take.
Cult Leader- Description: "Rave and slay! I told you the dead would rise! My, uh, Our time is at hand!"
- Killed by: 4 or higher
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1-3 Life counters
- Special: When killed has a 2 in 6 chance of having a random Special Object Counter on him that the player can take.
Demons- Description: Straight from Hell and ready to party
- Killed by: 6 or higher + Holy water
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1-6 Life counters
- Special: None
Mummies- Description: Maybe this was the wrong week to have that exhibit in town.
- Killed by: 5 or higher +3 bullets
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1-3 Life counters
- Special: player with Egyptian Tome can move Mummies instead of a Zombie on his turn
Psycho Killer- Description: A human engine of destruction who has lost his marbles with the dead coming to life
- Killed by: 6 or higher +4 bullets
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1-6 Life counters
- Special: None
Werewolf- Description: Figures, its the full moon too!
- Killed by: 4 or higher + Silver weapon
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1-3
- Special: None
Vampires- Description: He wants to suck your blood!
- Killed by: 6 or higher +(Any one) cross, stake, garlic or Holy water. Extra ones adds +1 to your roll each.
- Damage it gives player if attack missed: 1 Life counter each 'round' combat lasts cumulative (round 1=1 damage, round 2= 2 damage, etc). Kill them as quickly as possible or avoid the fight.
- Special: None
Special Object Counters:
Use pieces of paper marked with the objects name or the provided counters to represent them in game.
- Wooden stake
- Garlic
- Holy water
- Cross
- Silver weapon/bullet
- Egyptian tome
