The Setup
News Flash - $1,000,000 reward for the rescue of the daughter of MegaloCorps CEO from a quarantined town. First six people to arrive at the MegaloCorps helipad will be flown in for a rescue effort.
You and five other people step into the helicopter. You are to be flown to a quarantined town that has been affected by a disease that turns people into grotesque-appearing cannibals. Each will be supplied with weapons and ammo. The daughter is in the Flower Shop. You will be dropped off at the helipad, and you need to find the Flower Shop, and return to the helipad with the daughter. The first one back to the helipad with the daughter will be airlifted to safety and given the $1,000,000.00
GAME SET-UP AND PLAY:
You start with the helipad instead of the Town Square (placing the Town Square out of play). Shuffle the rest of the tiles so that the Flower Shop is placed randomly. Continue placement of tiles as usual. When the Flower Shop comes up, the person with the least amount of health places the tile with zombies on each of the road squares as well as all squares in the Flower Shop, with a special token designating the location of the daughter.
In this game, you are encouraged to kill the other players. After all, YOU want the money. You kill the other players as you would kill the zombies, but it will take a 5-6 to hit. You have to be on the same square unless using a ranged weapon (grenade, etc.). When you hit, the other player discards a health. Once they are down to 0 health, they immediately go to the helipad just like you would the Town Square. You can't stay on the same square and make multiple attempts, but you can move off and back on in the same turn to try to kill the other player again.
Once someone has landed on the square with the daughter, have some way of designating who is the rescuer, because it will change. Once that person dies, the person first to the square where he/she died will have possession of the daughter. Be careful when you kill them though, because you have to get back to the Helipad and that's where they will be coming from.
The first person to the helipad with the daughter wins. All other rules are the same.
Now, keep in mind that this has never been playtested, and some rules may need to be tweaked as you start play. Feel free. It's all for fun. If you play, let us know how it goes. If you have any questions, make up the answers or I'll be around today. ;o)
